- OBEROENDE TEST AV OLJOR
Many of you have been following on YouTube and other social media, the “Project Farm” motor oil championships. Project Farm is an independent YouTube channel that performs various engine performance and shop equipment testing. While AMSOIL corporate cannot verify the tests that they are using and the level of scientific measures they use in their tests, it is still a group that has a large following and is respected by over 600,000 engine enthusiasts. I have seen many comments on their videos where actual consumers have changed brands of oil they purchase based on the Project Farm videos and explanations.
In March, Project Farm set out to find what they deemed as the “best 5W-30 synthetic motor oil”. They choose 16 different oils, including Motul and Liqui Moly, and tested them one by one against each other in a series of trials. They posted on YouTube each head to head competition on a weekly or bi-weekly basis as they slowly narrowed down the competition. Today, was the final championship of AMSOIL versus Pennzoil, where AMSOIL was found to be the grand champion.
If you are marketing AMSOIL via social media, I encourage you to watch and share the video with your customers and prospective customers. Project Farm is not associated at all with AMSOIL and truly shows a third party engine enthusiast finding what he researched as the best motor oil you can buy. AMSOIL staff and Distributors all love and believe in our products, but a story is really told when an unbiased stranger ALSO finds us as the best motor oil out there.
Here is the link to the final championship that you can send out or share (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWuKvnCq1js&t=5s), and if you like, you can go to the Project Farm YouTube Channel to watch all of the other videos to see how AMSOIL made it this far.
Here is a screenshot of the entire almost 4 month competition to see which brands were tested against each other:
